Shiro Cottage is nestled in the heart of Misorano Forest, Echoland, Hakuba offering serenity and relaxation after a long day of exploring the nearby mountains. Shiro Cottage is a three bedroom, self-contained cottage that boasts Western style facilities with a Japanese influence. With easy access to some of the largest mountains in Hakuba, restaurants, bars and tourist attractions, it encompasses everything that Hakuba has to offer in all seasons. Shiro Cottage is an easy 400 metre walk to the free shuttle buses that will take you to your favourite mountains and into the hub of Echoland. Here, you will find a mix of both western and traditional dining experiences and bars to meet your needs. It is also only a 3 minute drive by car to the nearest ski lift (Nakiyama Happo Lift).

On arrival in Hakuba, you will be greeted by our English speaking staff who will transport you to Shiro Cottage, allowing you to simply relax and take in all that Hakuba has to offer with minimal stress. On departure, you will also be transferred to your departure location.

“Shiro Cottage a great place to stay close to Hakuba snow fields”

Shiro Cottage was located a short walk to snow shuttle transport,close to restaurants & local bars.It had all the facilities that were needed for a self accomodate Holiday home.It was warm with heating through-out and it fitted two families with ease.It had a great drying room for snow gear.We loved it so much,we would definitely love to stay again.

“SHIRO COTTAGE WAS PERFECT”

Shiro Cottage was perfect. It was warm and very comfortable. It was located far enough from the main echo-land that it was peaceful but walkable to all the restaurants. The snow shuttle bus was only a small walk away. Shiro was clean, had everything you could possibly need. Beds were comfortable. I would definitely recommend Shiro and stay there again. Allison was thoughtful and responded very quickly.

“SPACIOUS, HOMELY & A WONDERFUL PLACE TO STAY”

We couldn’t have enjoyed our stay at Shiro cottage any more than we did. It was absolutely perfect for the seven if us-three couples and our 2 year-old daughter. Spacious, homely and and a wonderful place to relax after a day on the slopes. It is picturesque set amongst the forest trees but also in a central location and a ten minute walk to the Echoland bars and restaurants. Allison and Michael were so friendly and accomodating. They went out of their way to help us and offer us anything we may have needed. A baby gate was provided at the bottom of the steep stairs for our adventurous toddler that gave us peace of mind. We would love to come back again!
