HAKUBA CORTINA LODGE

Hakuba Cortina Lodge is situated in Norikura, nestled at the foothills of Cortina Ski Field. It is located 20 minutes from Hakuba, away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist hub. With Hakuba Cortina Lodge located at the local Satomi Bus stop, there is easy access to the local villages including Tsugaike Kogen, Iwatake and Hakuba. Norikura is traditionally Japanese without the tourist influx and reflects the culture with customary onsen and peaceful village life. The location is perfect as it provides ski in and ski out accommodation, without the need to take a 20 minute bus ride from Hakuba when the Japanese POW is on! For the experienced skiers and snowboarders, you can get the first tracks without getting up early as it is only a short walk to the lift. For those who are first time snow folks, you can hit the beginner slopes early and then indulge in an onsen followed by a traditional Japanese meal. Kick back and reflect on the day at Endless Bar and Restaurant situated on the ground floor of Hakuba Cortina Lodge.

“Amazing spot for skiing, eating, drinking, sleeping, and new friends!”

This place is fantastic! Walk to the slopes with an in-house restaurant and bar makes everything really easy. However, it’s the staff that makes this place a magical spot. They went out of their way to help us make our time there stress-free and easy. We took the shuttle down to Happo one night and it felt like a busy ski town, where this lodge is away from the hustle and bustle, without sacrificing amenities. We’re happy to have new friends and a place to stay in Japan!

“Fantastic stay”

The location of the lodge is perfect. It’s easy to reach, as the bus from Happo stops just in front. Also, the ski lifts of Norikura and Cortina are just one street away, behind the building. There is a nice bar downstairs, where you can have a good dinner, some beer in a relaxed atmosphere after a great day out in the snow. The staff is legendary!!! They are all super friendly and really do their best to make your stay as comfortable as possible! Thanks for the great stay! We would love to come back again!!!

“Perfect place to stay to get your Japow fix!”

What a great stay! We had an amazing time all round. All of the crew there were awesome - we felt like part of the family right from the start. The lodge is an easy 5 min walk from Norikura resort, from which you can connect to Cortina if you want. Its literally at the bus stop, so getting around the valley is super easy. Our room was perfect for us (3 guys sharing a big room), with enough room for our gear, comfortable beds, and a great hot shower. The food/drinks at the bar downstairs were excellent. Really, it was just great overall, and I can't wait to go back.
